About me
Hi.
My nickname is Kosi2801 and I'm responsible for all of the posts you can find on this blog. I started to blog with Idea fountain back in 2003 on Blogger.com. But to also bring in some personal touch I also created bpi.blogspot.com (which is nowadays owned by someone completely different). When the blogger.com site became too narrow for me (for example it didn't have categories back then and such issues) I decided to switch over to something with more possibilities for individual changes and thus I created my own blog with the Movable Type system on FreePgs.com in 2004. And this is where it still resides until this day.
In this blog I'm presenting some insights in my personal life as well things I'm interested in or I'm working on. From time to time there are also work-related postings altough I'm trying to keep details which could identify me or my employer out of this blog for both sides safety. In any case, all opinions expressed in this blog are and reflect solely my own personal views and do not represent the views of my employer or our customers.
I'm working at a company since 2001 whose nowadays focus is mainly billing systems but in the past additionally worked on different technologies, including Voice over IP and CMS. VoIP was also my main focus of work from the beginning until around 2007. Then I also switched into the department for billing systems where I've also been working until around 2010. In the following years I worked on topics related to large scale CMS systems during which I also became a certified ScrumMaster for several teams. By 2013 I changed departments again, back to billing systems and by end of 2013 I took the opportunity to again dive deeper into development stuff.
In the year 2007 I additionally started to study at the FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences to continue my personal education and broaden my knowledge in many areas of the IT. I finished my Bachelors degree in Software design there 2010 and after that I continued to study the Masters degree programme of Advanced Security Engineering which I finished in fall 2012.
My interests are manifold, there are hardly any topics which don't arouse my interest. A list with some of them would include my interest for science and SciFi, computers and generally all sorts of technology. I also like to read fantasy books. More recently I'm trying to get more done on the front of sportive activities, get into electronics and hardware "hacking" and finish projects which pop up every now and then.
If you'd like to get in touch with me, drop me an email at .
That's it for now, over and out,
Kosi
